That is quite a change to the nose; but, I love it! I'm sure the 2009 will be as good as, or better, than the 2006 I had. It's hard enough to compete for sales against the Miata. These tweaks will make it harder, I'll bet.

Agree.
And I actually like how they changed the foglamps area, now it has a bit off that RX-7(FD) looks at the front.
The 2006 model felt a bit more towards the ladies.

Excuse me? I chose the '06 because of it's styling, upgrades, etc over anything else out there, to include the new Saturn Sky; and, I don't consider myself a lady. I just think the newest is even better looking. Kinda reminds me of the RX-8 styling, as well. Unfortunately, I traded our '06 in on the Roush; but, you can see from my Sig that its replacement isn't too bad, either. Maybe I'll have another new one, one of these years.

This ladies thing is a bunch of crap, though. I see more Miatas on the road than I see of the more "manly" sports cars. Most of the time, they're being driven by guys. Of course, I guess it just depends in what part of the country you're from that dictates who drives them. I'd say the ones on the west coast may be driven by a different core group than what we have in central KY, for example. Thus, the stigmas that can be born. Would you believe my wife has yet to drive a Miata, except the first one when the salesman insisted on it? She drives her Mustang and the RX-8.

The new "smiley" front:

on the rx8 = yes
on the mx5 = yes
on the 3 = no

@lasermp5 - interesting how many people, with me too, share that opinion.

No; but, I did notice misbehave is from there. I couldn't pass it up. :D
