Lost it? Strange... ebay or something like that I guess. $300 is about right though. they arent cheap hence not upgrading ours.

$300 is a rip for something that cost $10. they burn these by the boat load. If I find someone who has one can I burn an image on a DVD burner and will it work?

Part number GP9A66DZ0C (from the Ebay auction) was superseded by part number GP9A66DZ0D, which in turn was superseded by Part number GP9A66DZ0E.

Personally, I would take the version from two generations ago for the lower price but if you do want the most up to date version, the MSRP is $300. But just because MSRP is $300 doesn't mean that you can't find it cheaper, here's one for $240:

(enter the part number, "GP9A 66 DZ0 E", into the search bar)

and another source at $255:

My guess is that the guy with the old DVD on ebay is wanting to upgrade and is just selling his old DVD.

even though i doubt that it will work i would at least give it a try to copy that dvd. if the copy works in your car sell the original :)
