So the buyer of my headlights backed out at the last minute so I decided to see how these headlights looked on my True Red MS3 with PartPlaza eyelids. The eyelids have not been secured in the pictures since I need to find some decent double sided tape first.
The pictures look kind of crappy due to the lighting. I am awaiting a new fuel pump so the car is sitting idle in the garage right now. I will take some better pictures once the car is up and running again.

Some new overall pictures. Car is a little dirty in the pics as we just had a fresh snowfall, and it still has the winter rims on:

Wow, very different. I like it. Those combined with the eye lids give your front end this very sinister look.

Ha Ha tell me about it. We just bought this house and that is the first thing that is getting redone. We have a huge yard and lots of land so we are going to build a nice sized workshop with a lift.
I think I'm going to hand onto them, but I have another set of brand new headlights that I could get painted again if someone really wants.
i saw these on a subaru a couple days ago and was trying to picture what it would look like....IT LOOKS AMAZING! was it hard to do?

Not really. I have never taken apart headlights before but I used a heatgun and went slow. Hardest part was removing the black frame from the clear lens.

Those looks great Element. I'd definitely keep them if I were you. When you get a chance, post some pics of your entire car, so we can see the total package with those lights.

They're not glued together or anything? I blacked out the lights on my Focus, and in order to get in there I had to bake them in an oven to soften up the adhesive holding the halves together! That was a huge pain, and almost as bad putting it back together...

They are glued together. I just used a heat gun to heat up a small section at a time until they were completely apart.

really baking them in the oven is super easy, I followed some directions I found on this website and they come apart very very easy.
so how long did it take to paint and did you use any special paint?

I didn't paint them. I had a body shop paint them for me. I assume they used just normal automotive paint.

Are they OEM HID's? If so, I'm interested my dude, depending the price you're willing to sell them for. Wish I would've seen your FS thread, I'm always late on seeing the good stuff on the for sale forums.
Very very nice (2thumbs).

thread title meant nothing. He had a buyer who backed out so for the hell of it he threw them on. Doesn't mean he still isn't in the market to sell them, pm him! Hell I dont want to sell my ETS but if someone threw a crazy offer out there I'd change my mind.

Ha ha exactly. The buyer backed out so I put them on the car. They now have True Red Eyelids on them but they can be removed if the buyer doesn't want.
$$$ talks lol.

I was referring to the "Are they OEM" portion of the post, which was addressed in the title of the thread.
