There will be two engines at launch for the US--a base 140 hp 2.0-L four, and a 168 hp 2.4-L four. The latter engine will be in most trim levels.

Early in 2010, we'll see a new GTI/Si-fighting trim level using the 215 hp, 2.0-L turbo out of the Genesis coupe.
Pricing should be in line with the current Spectra. Expect the turbo coupe to undercut the Civic by at least a $1000.

I agree, i like the looks so far, need to see the interior before full judgement tho and production trim would also be good to see

so which car are they ripping off to make this?

what is it, the spectra5 that looks like a Protege5?

i think kia might try and do what hundai is doing to keep the sales up. come up with some more cars with power and performance to knock the others from top. the only thing that im not a fan of is their luxury department. nothing to brag about there yet, but they may change that too.

Yes he did but that Spectre is about to be replaced with an all new car. This is the Forte.
