Very big thread about that. Do a search for forge bpv and you can't miss it.

most people including me use blue + 2 shims. Takes no time to swap em out so when you get it just test them all.

I actually use the yellow spring with no shims, I am running stage 1 cobb ap with an MSCAI no issues.

I started there, but when I went with the blue spring, the car woke up big time. Make sure that you're not putting the shims on the top side, because it will flutter if you do that.


I prefer blue with 1 shim.

I hear you get slightly more vacuum at idle with only one shim. I'm running blue+2 and have thought about going back slightly with one less shim.
