255 whp and 267 tq. Lower than I expected but after all, they're just numbers. MPH at the track is what matters to me in making power. That and what I can hang with on the highway. Once I get quicktime pro up and running I will edit down the first video I have of me spinning on the dyno lol. That and I gotta scan the chart.
EDIT: Runs were done in 4th and the dyno is a Dyno Jet 224.
Do you have a baseline? Because you're right, they're just #s.

Your TMIC can't cool properly with the hood up, add a few hp for that.
Your TMIC can't cool properly AT ALL
I think you made a typo ;-)
On topic:
My baseline dyno in 4th was 240hp / 250tq, only mod was cobb sri, and a big ass fan on the horrible intercooler

Looking at your best trap speed, almost 106mph, you should be closer to at least 275whp.

I know, but the fan they had didn't really blow much air. That and I had to pull the shroud to get an RPM signal.

I had my Speed3 dyno'd at Performance Dyno back in April.

Stock I dyno'd at those numbers... It was at 0% humidity and it was 70 outside, I had a friend hold the fan about a foot away from the TMIC. Maybe I got a few lucky runs, hopefully I'll get to redyno w/ a CS test pipe and Cobb SRI.

And what had you done to her at that point?

the easiest was is to strap one of those 3' by 3' square fans to the TMIC. Then have a fan in front.

Since then added SU test pipe, (not that these matter: SU engine mounts, TurboSmart BPV)
Should get it re-dyno'd at Performance Dyno. Had it dyno'd at Holyroller Dyno with a Dynapack.

I'd just ice my tmic...but my car is stock so I wouldn't waste my money dyno'ing.

The purpose of a dyno is to 'try' and obtain realistic conditions to get a real hp number.
a box fan on the TMIC or a blower in the front would simulate realistic driving conditions better.
Also, water would get all over the place and get messy. :p

Um, I thought the purpose of dynos was to make your e-peen bigger? hehe j/k
But seriously if the cooling fan was lacking there I'd rather try and err on the side of more HP. Besides, when I take my MS3 to the track in the spring I'll ice it up between runs. And water? Use a bag lol

Humor does not go well over the internets unless you use a stupid amount of smilies.

How did you manage to get an appointment with Giles? I hear they are always booked and noone can get in there. What did you dyno on the hub dyno?

I dyno'd twice at Holyroller. I just dropped Giles an email and he scheduled me in. I was just there this past Sat when a friend of mine dyno'd his Mazda3.

I put the car (stock) on a Mustang dyno and got 200hp and 210 tq at the wheels. Corrected for a Dyno jet I would be getting 225hp 235tq to the wheels. This was without any sort of fan.(screwy)

Cool man. What did Giles charge?
He charges $75 for the run. He does the driver's seat but does multiple runs and explains what he is seeing with printouts.
