View Full Version : Alpine Ovehead DVD Player & some more toys

Hello all - I finally pulled the trigger and put in an Alpine Overhead DVD player, Back up camera, Savv Rearview monitor, changed out all the interior bulbs to cool white LEDs, and upgraded my headlights to 5000 55W HID's and i love them. Also changed out my fogs to Hyper White to match my headlights. Oh, one last thing, got the Bayson R front splitter. Pretty cool. I have H&R Springs and the Mazdaspeed Camber kit as well. Looking to get some Mazdaspeed 3 rims before i install them. Let me know what you all think.

Nice work. I like all the blue. Did you have fun fishing the wires through the back door? :D
Also, how close is your sunroof to the DVD screen? Did you mount it like mine? I'd like to see some more pics :)

I got the LEDs from www.superbrightleds.com. As for the DVD player, its really far forward. I wanted the second row to be able to see it easily. :) I post up more. It fits firm on the OEM plate for the DVD player. So the edge of the overhead is right where the sunroof ends.

And not it was not easy to fish the wire through. Not easy at all.

The DVD player Looks very nice, and looks like what my wife and I were wanting for our kids.

Is that the Alpine PKG-RSE2?

And please post a couple more pictures of the DVD player, outside in the sun, including one with the screen closed. I'd like to see where exactly it is in relation to the rest of the ceiling, I'm interested in putting in the unit I linked to above but wasn't quite sure where it would go so that the 2nd row could easily see it. I have an '09 Sport, so no sunroof.

Do you still have your dome light, or did this replace it?
