Grand Am is offering Mazda owners a great opportunity, we have finalized a deal to hold Mazda Corrals @ all of the Venues where Grand Am will be racing in 2009!! We had a great test run @ Daytona, which was well received by Mazda owners and Grand Am Corporate.

Here is a small sample of what Mazda owners will receive:

Ok, guys and gals, here's the skinny on "The Grand Am Experience for Mazda Owners...

Grand Am has agreed to everything that we've proposed.

1. Parade Laps

2. Hospitality tent or indoor facility when available

3. Tech Talks with KONI, Hoosier, Pirelli and Grand Am Officials

4. Driver Meet and Greets (private)

5. On site lunch or dinner at the Sahlen's food tent ( usually reserved for drivers, crews and special guests)

6. Track Tours

7. Pit Crew Challenge

8. Crew member for a day on a Mazda team ( by drawing)

9. Pace Car rides ( by drawing)

10. Swag from series sponsors

11. Eric Meyer or another driver-owner will do a Grand Am 101

12. Crew Chef Q & A where you can get some advice from the leading crew chiefs

Also, Grand Am is creating a page dedicated to Mazda owners on their website for us. You will be able to register, get info on upcoming events, see schedules and more. Antoine has also agreed to place a banner ad on the site which will link you to the Mazda site.

Our first event will be Homestead, this is a free event and I will have further details, once Grand AM is finished their discussions with track officials. I can tell you this, that we'll have our own space in a prime location.

All of the Mazda teams and drivers are behind this, as well as the series sponsors. I have also reached out to some of our aftermarket sponsors to see if they wanted to get involved, some have responded and some have not.

So stay tuned for updates and here aer the schedules:

Also, we have created a Face Book Group, titled The Grand Am Expereince for Mazda Owners. We will have info on the site as well. We have drivers and crews signing up already, so come on over and join us there as well.

We may have a group that will go to Mid-Ohio.

As usual, I'm confused:

...Isn't homestead in October? It's the last event currently listed on the Grand Am page. So, do you mean that there won't be an "experience" until Homestead or that you won't make it to one until then? I'm just confused.

Otherwise, sounds great! :D

We are going to be rolling this out for Homestead, look at the Koni schedule for Homestead in March....

This looks pretty cool. The only one I'd almost certainly be able to go to would be Mid-Ohio but VIR and Watkins Glen are a possibility as I know exactly where both of those are.

Is this something we need to join, or do we just show up to the events?

For Mid-Ohio (as an example) there will be Corral Pass tickets that are sold on the website. This is a weekend pass with an infield parking pass, and you'll be able to park with the corral. Everything else is pretty much included with that.
