I installed a set of 6000 55wat ddm hids the other day. They work great but once in a while one bulb will not light up. I called ddm and they said that sometimes if the wire is a thinner guage from the car "which it is' it will not get enough power upon start up. Sometimes the one bulb lights and sometimes it dosnt. They recomment the harness kit that goes direct to the battery.
Anyone ever have this problem and did this and it worked???
Thanks

i do get the issue with mine, and im on a 35w. not that big of a deal to me, just flip the switch off and back on and itl fire up. only happens once in a blue moon so nothing to fuss over. i already have the harness and still get the issue so idk how much of a help it will actually be.

When I called them at ddm they also said try uping the low beam fuse by 5 amps and see if it works. Not sure if that would be safe with the electrical system though.

Edit: Just remember to aim the headlights right or you will blind alot of people and get some tickets.
