Has anyone tried to get the factory bluetooth to work in their M5 that came without the bluetooth button? I was wondering if all the components are there and it just needs activation. I thought about this because on my 06 Mazda 3 I was able to activate the trip computer even though my model wasn't suppose to have it. I just had to press the right buttons at the right time to activate it. I would have paid extra for factory bluetooth if I could have gotten it without all the other GT equipment.

The Mazda3 has the hidden trip computer. The Mazda5 has no such hidden function.

I am interested in this same mod. I doubt that the parts are "there" and just need to be activated. More likely, you'd need to add at least a module and a harness (and the button?) Anyway, I'll be researching this...hopefully someone comes up with something simple. If not, I'll go aftermarket but would love to integrate factory stuff.

Has anyone been able to retrofit OEM Bluetooth in their 5? I have a 2010 Sport that I'd love to add factory Bluetooth to.
