Its a loud clattering come from left side, that gets worse when i accelerate at any time, when i was on my way to work the clattering got way worse so bad that the car would not go above 50mph then slower and slower til something broke and a big ass cloud of white smoke surrounded my car and the car would not go anymore. i removed the valve cover and the timing belt is still on and no oil in the spark plugs or coolant. I have a couple guys supposed to come look at it but they haven't called me back yet just tryin to see if anyone has any ideas cuz i dont think they're gonna come by today either

I had something similar happen to me about a month and a half ago... Bought the car last April and was burning oil out the exhaust... Turns out the clattering was because I spun a bearing from low oil. Turns out I bought the car with some leaking rings and a stuck valve or two (as my mechanic told me)... Just bought a rebuilt motor for $3100 :-X

3100$? Would have been a LOT cheaper to just buy a used motor for less then a grand...
