Fender Linings

Does anyone know why the left front fender lining is vented but the right isn't?

probably because the stock air box's resonator is right there. Thats my best guess

So they have the air being pushed through the airbox and out through the fender?(scratch)

i think its for air to get in, my injen filter is right there

Yeah, that would make sense. I thought it might be for brake cooling but then I noticed there wasn't one on the other side.
