2007 Mazda 3 Aux Input

Is it possible to move the AUX input on my car to where the ashtray is.. I hate it in the center consule I think its the worst spot they could of put.. How is the factory AUX input wired? Is it direct? Or can I just unplug a cable and run a new one or what??Also how well do 6x9s fit in the doors? Is there a RCA output on the deck for an AMP?

You can buy the mazda ipod integration unit and route the cable to the ashtray. The standard aux input does not transfer sound quality all that well, so you'll definitely notice a difference.
