what i'm thiking is three options
Option one all new. ETS 3.5 tmic upgraded, TRZ engine and tranny mount combo and forge BPV
Option 2: used Sb and PNP and New forged BPV or upgraded mounts
Option 3: be like everyone else in america and horde my money and give no chance for the economy to turn around...
yeah I'm not gonna do option three but just venting with option 3
oh current mods are CS test pipe(installed) cs dp(uninstalled), and msd dashawk +PG intake in the mail

you could get a NEW standback and PnP harness with $950. That's what I'd do :)
Once I have the money, that will be my next purchase.

I thought they discontinued the 3.5" ETS TMIC? The option 2 would be good, but the sb come zeroed out so I would set some money to get tuned.. Laloosh from the other sites is selling the ms3 so im not sure if hes helping people tune anymore.

ditch the CS test pipe, keep the down pipe, match it to a vibrant down-pipe back exhaust and you have the cheapest 3 inch catted turbo back in town. upgraded mounts are not a bad idea either, honestly one of the first things to be done. turbo manifold yields a lot of power as well.

i can get a used one with a switch and mounting point for a lot cheaper and already have a couple of maps to start with. And a new SB and PnP is runnign for 882 right now from PG
but yeah, if i get the SB and PnP it will be used more than likely

well i only paid 300 for my DP and RP together.... and if i add the catback new i would only be at 775 for a TBE..

the PnP harnesses are backordered from CPe right now. could be a month or so on a new one, so used is the best immediate option. 3.5 is orderable however they are built to order on a 3 to 4 week basis.

Get the 2 TRZ mounts and a COBB AP. You dont need any more exhaust. Once you do the DP and RP thats all you need. A catback is worthless. The new AP maps are really good and you get more for your $$$ compared to the SB. The AP gets rid of fuel cut, gives throttle control, and a good tune. If you want all that from cpe, you have to get a SB and 2 ecu flashes.
And make sure to dump all that money into the economy at a place like.....

All stuff i buy new i ALWAYS buy from PG. unless they don't have it. As fas as the AP i just don't like the idea of using a map that was tuned out in CA for a car here in VA... and i won't have the EXACT same products that they use as far as exhuast and what not. I i want the cat back eventually to get rid of the DRONE... its horribly noticeable with just the RP installed
I agree and then sell the dashhawk to buy a Forge BPV
why wold i sell the DH? even if i were to go the AP route i would still hold onto my DH becuase i don't want a 600 dollar electronic sitting in my car for someone to snatch up
you should buy my coilovers lol.
hmm, you have BC's right? pm me a price

I was gonna say... I wasnt aware that the AP did all that!!!! Granted I havent really looked into the AP cause Im pretty much done with performance stuff on the car but hey if it can do all that, thats awesome!! Oh and to actually answer the ??? if I had 950.00 Id put it towards my debt haha so then when Im out of debt I could go crazy and buy all kinds of stuff!! But hey thats just me!

Hmm tough choice.
For me:
a. 8-ball and a couple of strippers to do with as I please.
b. FMIC.
c. DOT-R's for my track wheels
d. front and rear sways
Yeah I'd choose the FMIC - because that is what I need next. Tired of heat soak. Watching my DH I get sick seeing my Boost Air Temps climb up to 160 when I'm sitting in traffic or at a long light. Strippers are boring anyway, and I don't do heavy drugs :) The DOT-R's would be nice, but I'm still relatively happy with the summer tires on the track. Sways will be nice, and I'm ready for them but I'd rather the fmic first.
I agree with coilovers being a good choice...BC's are doing me allright. My shocks were on their way out though so I had to do it.
I agree with AP, with the beta tune I'm running now I'm quite happy with it. Figure they will eventually come out with the pro tuner stuff so you can get a custom tune. It's not that big of a deal IMO, since the ECU learns and relearns based on your situation. But yes a custom tune would be ideal. I'm looking forward to that.
I agree that a catted DP is all you need. I'm running the CP-E catted downpipe and it made a nice difference. Stock cat back is fine. Though it is surprisingly loud at times.
Did you say you have an intake? That's a must do on this car.

wait, so the AP gives you 100% throttle?
The AP gives you Full Throttle, Cold Weather Cut Fix, Power past 5.5k, A boost gauge, An AFR Gauge, A KR Gauge, Datalogging etc. etc. etc. With the SB in VA you WILL want at least the Cold Weather Fix or you will be cutting in 40deg weather like crazy. That's another $450 from CPE for that and if you want the Full Throttle that's another $35 on top of the original price.
Your MODS don't have to match. An SRi is an SRi, a DP is a DP, A FMIC is a FMIC. There may be minor differences but not enough to make a difference.
Maps done on a car in CA does not matter if you're in VA unless there is a drastic elevation change. If you're at 5k feet, then there might be a difference. You just need to keep in mind that the AP is a FLASH and not a SB. The AP allows your car to still learn and adjust.
Anyway, if I had $950 and I was you I would get a FMIC and Forge BPV first. You have the exhaust covered but I didn't see any SRi/CAI or TMIC/FMIC in your list. Thus I would get something up front first.

I've got the Protege Garage intake right now. And i would rather have a tune before putting the in the DP or ordering a FMIC... I could get the AP and Fordge and possibly spring for the mounts with my own money. Knowing this about the AP it DEF seems like a better deal than the SB...

The SB is a good tool for sure man. But for me it's simply a tool to be used by those that really want to push the limits (due to tuning it) or want to run a BT today.
For me the AP is simply more bang for the buck and I can wait for the Steet Tune to come out. I'm a patient man in that respect.
