So tonight I was driving home and the pickup truck infront of me drop a giant ball of ice from his wheel well. It hit the right front and left a fist size dimple next to the fog light.

So my question is, I probably have to get the bumper cover replaced, what might this cost me? Any good places for ordering oem parts like this?

I hate winter in chicago.

If it's not cracked it might could be heated and pulled back out with minimal body work. Even if it's cracked it could be fixed. If you are like me though an don't like the thought of bondo on your brand new car you would have to order a new bumper. My hubby hit a deer in ours and we had to have $8800 worth of repair- but on the estimate from the insurance the new bumper was $431.80. That is just for the bumper! Then it was 2.5 hours labor to remove and replace it, and then you got to pay for paint supplies. It's not gonna be cheap. It would be way cheaper to have it fixed than replaced.

Thanks for the tips guys. Yeah, it has a tear in it. I'll take it to a body shop and see what they think. If I need to replace it, that seems like a decent price from MMP.

Hopefully that 2.5 hours includes paint time... heck I pulled my front bumper, installed a CAI, and put the bumper back on in about 2 hours... and I didn't know what I was doing!! The bodyshop guy may not either, FWIW.

I don't know if it included that or not. Probably did.
