tranny problems

so Im not sure if Im being over cautious, but basically, my tranny feels "Loose". If IM shifting slowly it clunks as I let out the clutch.... If I shift fast.... it seems fine...... If I accelerate and hold the stick, I feel the whole tranmission seem to shift with the power...... Im thinking either a mount is loose or maybe the clutch needs to be replaced. any thoughts?

well with my car...when i shift and keep my hand on my shifter i can feel the shifter stick move with the power of my engine...and same with my friend's msp...so i think that is normal...(but we both do have stock tranny mounts for now)...if the clunk that you are describing is the same that i felt in the past you are dumping the clutch way to fast like going from boost and then you cruise at a normal speed ....you let your foot off of the clutch pedal way to fast then that will happen..it doesn't sound/feel/isn't good for your car!...motor mounts as i can imagine will help with all of this ....

word, I had feeling it was just me not shifting right... so thats good, thanks for the help yo!
