today i changed my oil with 10w30 royal purple. when i started it up after the oil change a PUFF of white smoke shot outside of the exhaust pipe. never did this before today. also, the oil light came on for a split second upon starting the car then went off. i've been searching around the forum and it sounds as if i've over filled with oil. i thought it was like 3.7 of oil? i put about 3.5... what does everyone think the situation is.
p.s. i also took a flashlight to the muffler and saw little tiny water drops inside, or maybe dew (the temp did drop from like 65 to 50 as the sun set) ... last time i ran the car was yesterday afternoon, oil change was performed at about 5
