wondering what power wire u used...

I installed my boost gauge today and i was wondering what everyone used as there power feed wire.

My gauge is above the ashtray (between the airbag light, and cig lighter). So I pulled power and light control off the cig lighter.

Why do your gauges need power with the car off?

No, there is no power to the cigarette lighter with the car off.
