Hi all,

I am new to the forum, so I am thanking in advance for any help I get. A couple of days ago I went to go get my windows tinted and they tinted the front windshield too. But the a-holes must have spilled water on the dash and it soaked in between the CD/Radio Display. I have a 2007 Mazdaspeed3 and I was trying to look for a replacement or maybe a guide to get in there and dry the water. They said see if it drys up but I don't want to wait and if its broken I will have them replace it. It a new car for me and I dont want any defects. So as it stands the display is kinda discolored because of water spots. Please help and thanks again in advance.

well, if they did it, they have to pay for the replacement.

check ebay for some stock ms3 radios.

yeah I know, it looks ugly right now. I was just wondering if there is a way to get in there and soak up the water. I looked on ebay for stock parts and it came up with a few. What year(s) mazdaspeed3 can I use for the whole radio and does it have to be a Mazdaspeed or is just the regular Mazda 3 the same radio unit?

I wouldn't even be looking for a solution. If they didn't take the necessary precautions while performing work that you paid for, then I'd bring it back & say look! Now, do you wanna give me cash? Or, go buy me a radio? It sounds like the person who tinted your car hasn't been doing it for very long. Commen sense would say to lay down some kind of tarp/cover.
