Need opinions on this headlight treatment...

I'm in the middle of a retrofit with my OEM headlights and was debating giving them a complete blackout look, and color matching the chrome rings to the car.

I found a pic from hidplanet where a member did it to his dodge. Keep in mind we would have three rings of red. Let me know what you think.

So you're talking about blacking out the turn signal and high beam reflectors? Or just color matching the chrome rings?

I say that the former is a retarded idea, but the latter might look pretty good.

Realistically though, I think our headlights look pretty good the way they are...

it doesnt sound like a bad idea. u may want to consider maybe blacking out everything except for two rings?? three seems like alot.

photoshopping b4 u do the work would be a plus. dont forget to throw some eyelids on. bam! that would be sick.

I'd say paint the housing the same color as your car. (Leave the reflective areas there for obvious reasons, but paint the housing color matched).

Well the reflective area won't be needed anymore as I am doing a quad projector retrofit. I don't know how to photoshop otherwise I would.
