So I'm out around yesterday headed over to pick up the lady and heading through a green light when BAM!, some guy decides to run his red light and hit my passenger side. Luckily no one else was in the car at the time and I swerved to try and avoid him but he still caught the rear end of the car. Rear pass wheel was kicked off on a skew, quarter panel and rear door were pretty beat up. I don't have any pictures at the moment as my baby is locked up at the tow company's yard waiting to be looked at by the insurance company :( Can't believe this happened! So, now I've got this POS rental (Nissan Versa=worst gas mileage ever) I just want some Midnight Blue sexiness back right NOW! Pray for her please :(

I actually had a 3 for my rental & wanted the P5 back before I got too attached to the 3. lol. Hope she no total 4 you but.......take the insurance payoff & buy it back cheap & fix it yourself - short of too much frame damage tho cuz it'll be hard to make right.

if the frame is even tweaked don't do it....just take the money and buy one of the msp's for sale on here....

I would love to do that but I can't say dad would be all for it as it is under his name haha. He's one of those that are completely against internet purchases, thinks everyone is out to scam you hahaha. AND I live in Newfoundland so I would be a tough job to get one of them here haha

let's just hope it doesn't come to that hahaha

But if it does then you may want to consider what it would cost to buy back & how much you could make on here parting it out. Could actually make money perhaps.

GD nothing today! Why are these people so slack?

i12drivemyMP5
01-08-2009, 07:49 AM
They're slack because they're holdin up your shit. Heaven forbid you hold up anybody else's shit then your a worthless lame useless bitch with a late fee attached but no, just standard operating procedure for them. The key is to let them know they suck because they don't think they do.....after you get what you need out of them of course.

haha yea and I didn't think it was very rusty. Those pictures make me think otherwise.

sounds about right to me haha I'll be sure to snap some shots when she's all done :) and I'm gonna be so picky too haha .. any little rattle better damn well be fixed. When you spend the money for all kinds of dyno matting there sure as hell better not be any rattles lol

way to go man, just finding out that its not written off is a big sigh of relief lols.
i've never had to experience something that serious (and i hope i never will) but it does suck when you don't have you're own car to drive.

oh also make sure you check the power window motor. my neighbor backed into the front driver side of my car about a month ago and unfortunately i forgot to tell my body guy to replace the motor and now every so often it rolls the window up very very slowly
