Looking for previous owner of P5 in AZ.

As the title says I'm looking for the previous owner of a turbo'd Silver P5
from AZ. picked up last Oct. and sold here in MI. The new owner is having problems with it and I'm looking for some background on it so I know what had been done to it, to help with fixing it.

hard to start, runs very rich, chitty gas milage, and rough idle.

rough idle would most likely be a dirty egr or vac leak.....runs rich well...is there any aftermarket tuner on it?? if there is it should be visable, check where the ecu is under the carpet on the pass side floor. if not than it needs one.

it's got a haltech.

i would recommend finding the vac leaks and giving it a decent tune. that would be a good place to start. it's kind of hard to diagnose some problems when you have too many other problems looming over it.

i was gonna ask how you know it's gotta haltech but that's what come's with hiboost kits right??? ha.....


clean the egr and look for a vac leak....and then what lil red said
