wierd noise from intake.

So I recently installed a simota twin charger CAI. Now whenever there is a lapse then reintroduction of suction, such as when i start the engine or shift at low rpms, there's a loud noise from under the hood.

Anyone encountered this before?

Have you made sure that nothing it rubbing/hitting anything else, and that all the connections are tight. When I first installed my short ram intake the air filter rubbed onto the coolant over flow tank, especially at the times you describe.

What kind of noise? The intake will make the engine louder. A little more description would help us figure it out.

ummm...its not a sucking noise.. ill check tomorrow when its not like 20 degrees outside. any other ideas?
