About Dice ipod integration w/text (experiences)

I'm about to buy a Dice car ipod integration with text for my Mazda 5.

saw one on ebay ealier today, but dont have any experience with it myself.

Lot of people with 3's have gotten them. The consensus is that the R1 works more reliably, and the tet display feature of the R2 is clumsy. Don't know if it's different for the 5 or not.
