I dunno about everyone elses, but all my stuff fit rather loose on EVERYTHING.. so I tried something that seems to work just fine and actually turns the nano into more of a full length short ram.. I dont even know if someone else posted this, but if you leave the stock rubber part of the intake(from the port of your turbo that has the return hose on it) you can just connect the metal part and the filter on that.. its kinda hard to explain but you can see on the pics it fits perectly.. and you can use the provided mount by turning it a certain way. and the only thing you need to buy is a cap to cap-off the extra return hose on the metal part.

-I found that his has an excellent tight fit and also keeps the metal and filter further away from the engine heat, also easy swap back to stock incase a dealer tries to blame the intake on something( happened to me)

That's inventive and looks nice, but the point of the silicone coupler is to smooth out the airflow which is normally somewhat distorted by the ribbing of the stock hose.

Just my .02

thanks.. but realistically the force of the air going through there isn't going to be affected by the stock piece... I would be willing to bet that if you were to dyno both there would be hardly any difference.. if anything the extra length would help
