After seeing the new Focus dash, I came up with this.

Got a comparison pic from the Focus? That is a very good job you did BTW.
The new Focus RS looks pretty sweet, a tad bit too R/C car looking tho...

I like it..I just wondered if it was shopped or not...SO what..you sit this over the pieces after its on the dash then I guess.
Thats the only way I could see getting the gauges in a pod like this.

The gauges are installed from the back with the fascia used as collars. Your idea would likewise work; if I had to do it over I'd probably make it two piece like you suggest.

Yeah..After I thought about it..I would make a pod that sits inside the outer pod held in from the rear...
I think that would work good...and you just gave me some new ideas...Thanks.

haha well like its a sweet idea, it needs some smoothing out and some better craftsmanship after looking more closely at it, but i still think it looks really good.
