Ok I changed the belts on my car about 3 months ago, no biggie. But since then the weather here in lower alabama has gotten cooler (65-75) Im from Clarksville Tn and have never had this issue (12-35 degs there) But lately Im getting a horrible squeel from under the hood when I first start the car and afew times after the car if already warmed up! Its really pissing me off becasue Ive already tightened the blets and used belt dressing on them. Im thinking that maybe a bearing is going to shit, any ideas?

Second issue... on first start up the car idols like ass every now and then. AFR goes anywhere between 11.5-17.9 and the car wants to die. I think this has something to do with the PG intake manifold but Im stumped. Any thoughts... Thanks a bunch guys and gals

could be the result of overtightening and/or the quality or lack thereof the belt. what is your vacuum and rpm at idle and startup?

Man I did by buy the autozone belts (HEHE) and my vac if fine at idol once the car is warm -22 -23ish and the car runs hella good once is warm but its just a little frustrating having to sit out side and milf the gas to keep your car running in the morning. It reminds me of my 69 charger.

I've seen a few threads about belt noise due to the belt itself, so that could be it if you have the right amount of belt deflection. You could be right about that 626mani causing your other issue. FI should not idle like a 60s carb for sure!

make sure the belts are seated all the way in the ribs of the pullies.. If they aren't, that could cause it
