i need to knwo what resister is used on the wire i ended up breaking mine installing it in the new car ..i went to radio shack and put the wrong one in it and ended up running really lean

Where are you hooking up the resistor? is it going to the MAF or the IAT? also FYI resistors are directional. Current should flow through one specific end and ground at one specific end.

Which resistor did you break, the one linking the two poles of the switch together, or the one that is hidden in the black shrink material that hooks to one of the wires?

He broke the one hidden in the black shrink wrap.
