Deer Commited Suicide Via MS3 =( *NSFK* WARNING VERY GRAPHIC PICS INSIDE!

I just got side swiped by a 6 point white tail deer, and I am now in the market for a new passenger side mirror. (and paintless dent repair). Anyone have suggestions for where I can purchase a black mica passenger side mirror? I am trying to avoid the dealer.

On topic though, that really sucks. It could have been much worse though, my mom totaled her Camry with a deer then one ran into the side of my fiance's SVX and it's head came INSIDE the car. His glass for the upper front window cost $300.

Good luck with getting it all fixed. Might want to give dry ice a try depending on how bad the dent is.

By the way, a deer did a number on my Mercedes a couple of years ago, about $5K in damage. I was cruising along at a reasonable speed for the road, and Bang! the stupid thing jumped out of the bushes right into me. My insurance company treated is as a comprehensive loss, equivalent to a tree falling on the car. No points, no premium increase, no DMV report, just fixed it.

hair and fur are not the same thing. if they were they'd be called the same thing, chemically distinguishable or not. maybe the deer you see are fluffy and wear collars and eat their dinner out of bowls on the floor. those are not deer. around me deer have thick, coarse "hair" like horses and don't chase tennis balls.

They had a Mythbusters episode on that lol. Did you guys see it? they were trying to see if it was better to hit a moose faster or slower. they were testing it cause they were thinking if ur in a small car and u slam it at high speed that u would just go right under it (snapping his legs off essentually) and the huge ass body would just go right over the car cause it doesnt have time to fall on ur car yet. LOL Hitting a moose is like hitting a horse. no matter what ur gunne get messed up

Also had to have a door skin on front left door, repair dent on rear door, airbag, etc.
Ended up being $8800 insurance had to pay. It's been in the body shop for 2 months. Parts are damn near impossible to get for this car.
