so i bought an HID Kit off of some guy for 40 buks. he told me it worked fine on his msp. so i installed them on my car yesterday, and i turned them on and everything was fine, they would turn on fine. so at night when i went to go drive around, i noticed my left headlight kept going out, but wen i would turn the lights off and back on again it would work fine for like 20-30 seconds then turn back off. the right light works perfect. i thought it was maybe the ballast so i switched them around and the same thing happend but to only the left light, the same one that keeps turning off. what could the problem be? i have checked the wiring and all. also the lights the guy sold me have 2 bulbs instead of 1. i figured it was hi/lo beam. but when i turn on the high beams on they turn back to regular lights? is this normal, or do those lights need to be installed different?

prolly a bad bulb or more likely a ballast that is defective

mine did the same thing. I just took them out and put my stock bulbs back in. Did you get a new bulb and where?

thats the thing the lights the guy sold me came with like 2 bulbs in 1. the main big one, and a small one right next to it. and when i installed it, i put my high beams on and noticed that when i did that it would switch to the other ligth bulb which lights up just like the stock ones. and when i switched back it would go to the xenon bulb. so right now im driving around with those. btu yea i ordered my replacement bulbs on ebay for 25 buks
