Does anyone else go through Headlights quickly? I swear I hav been changing them every 5-7 months. Any other car I have owned headlights lasted over 18 months.

Its not the bulbs. i have used a different brand everytime and they still dont last. The last set were $50 Hella's.
I know about the "Cool Blue" ones.
the problem goes beyond bulbs, but it looks apparent that im the only one with the problem. Someone at work suggested a bad ground, so today i spliced in an additional ground.

no no i think we use the H4 bulbs and the bulbs plus the ballast shouldnt be over $150. i got mine off the forums for 80 bucks shipped so if ou keep looking you should find some good stuff. do a search for techone HIDs and you should get more info there

dont buy expensive bulbs they burn out three twice as fast. I went through three in one year. I called slyvania to complain and they know they burn out, the reason is because they are high intensity bulbs and this is the same reason they dont offer warranty..buy HID off ebay, they last three times as long and see three times as far, and the cost $20 more..so its a no brainer..

Edit: They only cost $10 more the regular high intensity lamps.HERE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/XENON-HID-CONVERSION-KIT-H1-H3-H4-H7-H13-9005-9006-9007_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a543Q7c66Q3a2 Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1308Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3 a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem 250336425186QQitemZ250336425186QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5 fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories). I bought mine for $70 a year ago

Its eatin Halogens, not HID. I did look at some HID Conversion kits on Ebay tho, they seem to be in the 70-80 range. They claim to last longer, is that True?

I do think you may be having a grounding issue, they should last a bit more than a yr. Also spray a little brake cleaner over the bulb just before putting the it in. The slightest bit of oil from your hand is all it takes for the bulbs to not last long. I have changed 1 head light bulb in my car and 1 tail light.

Thats 2 people now that said ground, so hopefully my added ground works.
I know my hands arent touchin them, i use rubber gloves to install them, i hav heard that before about oil from our hands hurtin halogen bulbs.

I head the same problem with some nokya bulbs. was told the problem could be the car not supplying a proper 12 volts or amperage or something so the bulb get way to hot (comparison drinking a milkshake through a small straw). i was told a relay may help the power situation.

Checked Voltage with Multimeter, it was 12. The funny thing was that the ground showed like .005 volts. So hopefully thats it. I prob wont learn ever or for a long time. i hav my car for sale and if doesnt sale i wont be able to drive it for like a year.
