my car has been idling low ever sice i got it i noticed the black clip is kinda lose that holds the throttle cable is that normal. My car dose not hold a charge but when i step on the gas and give it 100 rpms it will hold a charge, the lights will go brighter and the heater will get louder when i step on the gas i always thought this was normal untill i went for a ride in another msp ive had the alt starter and battery cheaked out and there all good how would i adjust the idle or tighten up the cable i cant figure it out the only screw i can find is an allen screw bellow that thing the cable wraps around could someone help me out????????(2thumbs)

I had the exact same problem and turned out to be a bad alternator, which was also killing my battery. So I'd get a second opinion just to be safe, unless you are absolutely sure they are not the problem. How do the battery cables look? If they're corroded, you could be losing voltage too.

That screw that you found is indeed the correct one. all you have to is losen up the setting nut (10mm) and then take that screw in a about a turn and a half.

Well that eliminates that option. Let us know what happens with that cable.
