hks switching to recirc to vta?

if i have a recirc fitting but unplug the hose the unit will function exactly the same wont it? or will it sound different? also how do i take the recirc fitting off does it screw off or do i just yank it off?

You are gonna plug the recirc hose. Then take the shield off of the HKS BPV. Its secured by 4 of the 8 allen screws on the front of the unit. You can then remove the revirc fitting and put the original fins back on.

oh great the guy didnt send me original fins =( i only got the kit ready to go for recirc i guess damn that sucks.. not vta for me i guess. how do i know which 4 of the 8 allen screws i take out?

i bought my hks used and i never got the fins. when i ran the hks vta it made the same fluttering sound, just a little louder.

buy the stock purple fin, plenty of online stores sell them.

No, the fin isnt a pust but if you want that HKS sound thats the only way.
