it goes on top to 'lock' it in.

You should remove the guard/shield on the hks first. Its secured with 4 allen head screws from the front of the BPV. It makes it easier to use the Clip tool they are talking about.

i dont think i have anything thats secured with 4 allen screws... so i cant put in the washer then just try to work the bov in?
