Anyone notice that NASCAR cars are starting to look tuner-ish...? (lol2)

Mainly the front and rear spoiler... I remember when they used to just have a piece of vinyl base trim on the front and a simple piece of aluminum on the rear for a spoiler...

I wonder what they will look like 10 years or so from now... (huh)

If you took off the adverts and that front spoiler it'd look preety cool. All blacked out but the stripes and the yellow stipe on the wheels.

With the way the auto sports are dropping and the big 3 failing I just hope they are around in 10 years.

If they would replace the steel wheels and pushrod V8s then maybe they would be tuners

When he says "tuner cars" he is refering to modern typicaly japaneese cars. Pushrod v8s are so outdated, we have vtec and dohc now.

When nascar has turbos, vtec, alloy rims and dohc let me know.

I'm glad I dont like NASCAR. I'm more of a Touring Car, ALMS, and F1 kind of guy. I like keepin up with technology and Left and Right handed turns.

I suspect you're too young to remember the SuperBird...
