I ended up getting Johnsons Ray Guard for $220 for 7 windows. I believe its 5yr or lifetime warranty, I keep confusing the warranties on my clear bra and tint.

i went to a local tint guy. all my windows tinted with 20% 150 bucks. lifetime warranty

paid 150 with a lifetime warrenty and high quality tint. I wouldn't pay more than 200 for window tint.

the average price is 200 it seems. i've had tint done three times, all of which were between 200 and 250 IIRC.

I paid a little more than $150, another $35 for some clear bra on the back bumper to protect it from the dog getting in/out.

i was quoted $230 for any % in 3m, and i think for no extra charge they replace tint for free for life if you ever have to take it off due to police or inspection reasons

That would be a cool deal, too bad here in MI its no longer a fix it ticket and you would have to pay the fine regardless if you removed it or not.

I made the dealer cover mine, but the going rate would have been about $150 professionally done with warranty.

Of course it will vary from place to place, but I had mine done by someone on these forums locally for $120, all windows but the windshield at 35% tint. He used Suntek tint and I got a lifetime warranty with it.

Wow, some of you guys paid a lot for tinting. I paid $129 for the whole car besides windshield, 15%. Also came with life time warrenty.

I got mine for $190 with the Life Time Warranty from Elite Advantage Tinting here in Orange County, California. And that's $190 for all windows except the front windshield and any car. They come to your house and do it. That's a pretty good deal, it's so expensive up here in Norcal that if and when I do tint I will do it my self. Oh and I won't do the fronts (passenger/driver side) because I've been stopped too many times before...(protest)

It's been almost seven years since I got my last car tinted. Looking to get my Speed3 tinted soon. Was curious to see how much y'all paid for your window tinting (barring huge hook-up deals :) ) so I can gauge the current rate. How about the brand of tint/warranty? The brands that come to mind from my previous experience is Solargard and Llumar. Also, debating if I should get the tint strip on the windshield or not. Yay or nay?

I got 30 front 15 back high grade film done by the dude that tints for ferman ford.
he did 5 windows ( I did this special tint myself on the triangles) in MY garage for $110 while I drank beer.
no bubbles

The altar high front seat would keep me from an eybrow, I did my old car with a 10" strip but I sat 3.6 " off the metal in that car

$220 for a carbon stable film (35 fronts-18 the rest. No metal film-lifetime guarantee. Sixth vehicle I have done at the shop and never a problem.

$279 for Formula One. All 7 windows and the eyebrow/racing strip. Lifetime warranty. The Tint Pros in HB. They have done all my tinting. I've never had an issue.

Just got my fiancee's car done this past weekend by the same guy for the same price...

Just got a quote for $129 for Suntek Tint Film w/Lifetime Warranty. $109 if I have my wife's Protege done, too. Not going as dark as some y'all. Going with the FL legal limit of 30%. Any feedback on Suntek film? Saw a member chime in earlier about it and that's it.

Should be OK. All the mini-vans, Suburbans, etc. have rear windows darker than the fronts. Pretty sure even the stock tint on the Speed is two different levels.

$120 bucks for all 7 windows, Suntek film. If you can try to get llumar tint, it's the best in the industry from what i hear.

My last car had somewhat dark tint on the rear glass and it was hard, at times, to back out of driveways at night due to the added darkness. For me, personally, I don't think I'm gonna go as dark as I did last time around.

I don't really have any problems seeing out the back of my car. Of course it's darker, but you get used to it. I had 5% on the back of my Focuses when I lived in IL and even with that it wasn't too much of a problem. You do definitely use your rearview mirror's dimmer a lot less. (lol2)

I'm trying to figure this out as well...I'm in CA so the legal limit in front is 70%, which seems like nothing. All other windows can be whatever you want. If it's not much more than stock, then why the hell do it?

Who else from Cali has a tint and how much u got?

im always sooooo nervous when i see one near me, especially at times when im on a 2 lane road coming to a stop and he's coming up next to me

at that point i try to get the front windows down to maybe "better" my chances of not getting pulled over
