View Full Version : Need help! Not boosting past 11psi

Hey i just installed a halman mbc, and atp bck. Im doing my pulls in 4th gear and no matter how much i turn it up the max psi i got was 11.02 with a/f's at about a 14. Does anyone know whats going on? I just unplugged the battery and was about to go try again.

It sounds like the ECU boost solenoid is out of the picture for some reason. Maybe the wire to the solenoid fell off or was damaged? Or maybe you installed the MBC in such a way that the solenoid can't bleed off the pressure to the waste gate.

Did you by pass the factory solenoid on the wastegate?

my friend was boosting the same as you no matter how many turns it still only boosted 11.5 so we just hooked up mine and it was fine so it ended up being a bad boost controller!!!

well now there is a new problem, my boost gauge is reading about 20psi now, and my dashhawk is only reading like 6.7

If you have a BCD the dh will only read the 6.7. The boost gauge is correct.

oh okay thank you =] because i knew i was boosting more then 6psi

k i got everything squared away now :) im holding 18-19psi and the lowest ive seen my a/f's on WOT was about 11.3
