Just got my street unit editon cobb intake today. its suppose to be like $189 but they sold it to me for the price of the cobb version($175) because they didnt have any of those in stock.

And now im just waiting for the damn apartment complex employee's to leave so i can go out and put it on. we're not suppose to work on our cars where i live.

well, got it all put on today. it was for the most part pretty easy to install like everyone says but damn, that little 90 degree elbow was a bitch to get out of the stock intake tube. that thing did not want to come out. that was my only challenge with the whole install but once i got all the stock intake stuff off the cobb system went on like butta.

took it for a quick test drive and was very impressed. the 3 sounds so much meaner now with this intake. ive seen video's on youtube with this intake installed on a some cars and thought it sounded pretty cool but when you hear it in person, wow.

I will try to get some pics up some time this week. it started getting dark as i was finishing.

I remember like two years ago there was a Wednesday meet at UCF Mcdonalds, and a Saturday meet across fashion square mall, but I don't think those happen any more.

yea im pretty sure ive seen you over there on my way to work. i work right over on t.g.lee and 436. i used to go to the tuesday night orlando forums meet. i dont know if they even still have it though or if they do, where its at. they were always changing the location. i'll try to find out and get back to you.

yea, pretty much. mine is black and has "street unit" on the tubing. like i said i was just gonna go with the regular cobb intake, which comes with blue tubing but they were out of them so they sold me the SU one for the same price.

Nice, I just looked them up on the website and I want the whole set...but not for $60. That game is kickass, my wife and I play it a bunch.

I think he is talking about the regular WRX, and yes we will smash on them. I have little boy racers round here all day long in their WRX's trying to race me, and unless they are heavily modded, I will beat them all day long.

regular wrx yes easy to beat, sti's not so much. mainly the 07 and older
