Wheel hop...

i have the solid motor mounts in my car and still having wheel hop. bad enough it snaps cv axels on burn out at the strip! if i put lowering springs to stiffen up the suspension will it help stop this? and will lowering springs for a p5 work on a msp?

Are you talking all the mounts. Most of the wheelhop issues come from the passenger side. I have custom mounts all around and am very low on coilovers and have no wheelhop! I have only seen one guy break a cv axle in a straight line.

i have all four motor mounts replaced 62a durometer and lowered on stiffer springs, no wheel hop at all. just spins the wheels smoothly now when they break free. feels great for me on autocross tracks (i do launch off the line, unlike anyone else at my events!)

sls mounts front and side awr tranny and rear mounts. will the springs for a p5 work on this car?

Sounds like you need to work on your technique for starters and use less throttle at take off. SLS here and I get no wheel hop or axle issues.
