running wire after vent pod removed?

im going to be adding the aeroforce scan guage with the new vent pod soon availabe. since i never gad the vent out is it as easy as just dripping the wire in and it falls out from under the dash so i can plug it in. esentually a 15 minute boost guage install?

hey man somone on hear is sending me install pics of it tonight. ill post them. I had these guages in my srt4 so i know i love them.
