Ok.. to start out, my clutch does not slip. it works just fine, except ---- when i push it in, right at the floor it makes a kinda squeeky noise.. occasionally when i pump it i can feel "something" in the pedal, however it doesn't effect shifting or performance at all?

any ideas?

if i dont play around with the pedal a lot, it seems to dissopate.

there is no fluid that i could replace or something, is there?

possibly something in the pedal linkage?

it seems to be coming from the engine bay, so i know its not the linkage under the dash.

unfortunatly I haven't been able to get anyone to help me locate where the sound is coming from.. but i want to know if anyone has had any similar issues/fixes?

I wish i could describe the sound more, but all i can say is its a squeeky noise, and it sounds like a finger gliding across a wet mirror with suitable pressure to get a sound!

the feeling i get in the pedal is.. nothing hardcore, just a little feed back.. possibly a little grindy? but that word seems to harsh!

thanks!

what clutch do you have? I think Im having the same issue with my act stageII. I think mine is a broke spring on the plate. So Im replacing with a spec stage I plus and light flywheel. When I have the car apart friday Ill let you know what I found.

Its your clutch fork/tob making the noise.. Its nothing harmful.. Its a common noise..

It depends on how sensitive your feelings are.. I felt it in the pedal the first few times but ignored it and I dont notice it anymore..

Mine started after my lsd swap also. Now I think I have a broke spring or something because I get a nasty rattle while the pedal is compressed

what is the clutch fork? Would I hear this squeeking from inside the engine bay? I do definitely feel it in the pedal; but i dont always feel it, it is intermitent.

I could hear mine inside. I found it by listening outside the car while someone else pressed in the clutch

The clutch fork is what the slave cylinder pushes against to engage/disengage the tob..
