Is this normal for an engine?

I bought my car from a dealership and its a demo unit with 11K++ kms in it. Today, when I was checking my engine bay I saw this oil leak from the valve cover gasket.

Is this normal due to the gasket settling in or sign of gasket problem? Maybe an over heat that damaged the gasket?

no it should not be leaking....make them fix it....it could be a loose bolt on the cover and then again the gasket could be bad

EDIT: is that really leaking all the way around it??? yeah take it back to the dealer and they should be able to fix that in an hour and clean that head off
