Hey everyone, I'm trying to replace my manifold, s pipe and wastegate, so I'm obviously trying to remove the whole thing. One problem I've come across is the coolant and oil lines. There is a purple bracket holding 3 of the lines real tight and I can't get it off. The only real problem with it is the oil line since the coolant lines disconnect. Do people usually just take off the oil line at the block? Also for the return oil line, is it gonna leak if I disconnect that...what do you guys recommend? Thanks

I just cut that bracket off, when I took off my stock turbo that was the only way we could figure to get it off.

ok, just got that done with. Now I have one bolt left to remove. It's the second one on the bottom right. Any ideas?..

I am guessing from turbo to spipe? I had a cheap 10mm wrench that I grinded down til it was able to fit in there.
I disconnected my oil line at the block b/c I couldn't get it off at the turbo. No the oil doesn't leak out of the pan.

It's one of the bolts on the exhaust manifold to the head....I have a 12 pt wrench, but even if i grind it down, I'm afraid I'll strip the crap out of it...

I can't picture the bolt location off the top of my head, but have you tried the chisel method? Basically, you use a small sharp chisel with a flat blade held against one corner of the bolt head, and tap it with a hammer.
You're not going to get a whole lot of torque out of it, but it was a life-saver in removing the turbo to s-pipe nuts on both my and laserblue135's car.

I ended up using a grinder and just grinded a path for my socket lol. Came right off, now a few of the god damn stud threads are threaded on the turbo...so I'm gonna use a dice set and just clear the clutter
