My 'brake' idiot light isn't coming on

I have pulled the center console up and the wire is making a connection with the e-brake up, but the 'brake' light on the dash isn't coming on...any ideas?

blown bulb? Does the light come on with the key in the acc position? Just about all the lights should come on then..

nope, not even then...not quite sure what the problem is.

it's probably the bulb in the dash
