Ticking sound?

The wifes 99 protege has the loudest ticking sound! I can't tell if it is the fuel injectors or the lash adjusters....It changes in frequency proportional to the engine RPM. Any ideas?

i had that on one of my engines (1.8) to it was the freaking injectors
