I seen this on eBay like 6 months ago and it said it was a MP3, but I'll take your word for it, you seem to know more about it than i do.

I know that P5's have different headlights than that protege does. Those are more mazdaspeed/MP3 headlights. Could be a conversion tho. I'm friends with him on facebook so i guess i could just ask him...

the taillights are even more obvious, definitely p5 tails, not even remotely similar to sedan tails
