Utah and surrounding States

We are trying to put together a big meet in the spring possibly early summer. We would love to have tons of people there. Lets start with location. Lets get some Ideas on that and then we can set up a date. All opinions would be greatly appreciated

What kind of surrounding states are you looking at? I'll throw out an idea for meeting in Grand Junction, CO. It's in the NW corner. Or maybe we could all meet at the "4 corners." Yeah, let's shoot for the four corners.

I think around in that area is Mesa Verde too. Its the old ancient city carved into the mountain or something. If we could get that in a back round for a photo shoot that would be sweet

I wouldn't travel all the way to vegas. If I'm gonna do a car meet, I want it to be about the cars. Vegas would be too busy IMO.

Yeah and I've never been to Vegas either ha ha. I'm lame like that I guess. But I could picture a ton of Mazda's cruisin the strip at night. That would be hella sweet

I didn't make it this year, but freaking awesome meet!! Cruising Rt. 66 is by far one of the best drives I've ever done!!

I'd definitely do a four corners meet! Early spring would be best, say around mid April? Moderate temps, but weather has mostly cleared out. :)

Sounds like this should happen. Whoever is going to take the lead on this better start organizing now, finding hotels, getting blocks of rooms set aside, figuring out where to drive, and what to do. Most importantly when the actual date will be. A three day holiday weekend would be best ;)

Vegas would fun! You can only drive so man hours before you need something else to do! I'm hoping the Mazda will be reliable enough by then to drive it down. If I don't trust it, I could take the Ford (Mazda powered) Probe or one of the other non-Mazdas.

yay i second that , i just moved out of vegas and it was so hard to get a car meet going there . 4 Corners sound bad all , now that i live in denver i would be able to make that meet , but no way in hell im driving to vegas haha

Now that is a lot of brass air fittings http://www.liangdianup.com/subpages/airfitting_1.htm there is just about every type
of air fitting that you could want. Wholesale prices too. I guess these could be used as small water pipe fitting also. I
used some of the parts to make my babington wvo burner.

DID this Idea FALL off the Plate? Casinos in the area of Farmington NewMexico, or a party atmosphere in Durango CO. Plenty of activities in either area, and the drive into either is great most of the time. Lots to see.

I think this meet got overshadowed by the Midwest meet that's gonna be going on in Vegas. Personally I can't afford to drive that far cause I'll have a new son in about a month.
