I have a problem with my left rear brakes.
Heard the grinding, figured time to change the pads... get my std EBC Greens in yesterday, so I start to pull the brakes off today.
So I get the slider bolt out on the caliper. SOB caliper doesn't want to move up. I stick the bleeder line on the caliper bleeder nipple to release the pressure. Still no go. I pull out the "giant flat head screwdriver every uses a a prybar" tool, hehe. I'm able to wedge it up and off, but the lower caliper slider DOES NOT want to slide out. It's loose, and wiggles just a slight bit, but no go. So to at least get the rotors over to the shop to get turned, I unbolt the caliper bracket, hang it all up with some wire, and come in to type this.
Has anyone run into this before? I think I'm screwed and need to buy a new caliper and caliper bracket. I thinking this is what may have caused the rear pad to chew up even earlier than normal on the rears. Ideas?
**Oh yeah, if anyone knows the part numbers for the rear left caliper and caliper bracket for the P5, that would be awesome!
