One receipt, for my 22" monitor (haven't taken the time to scan and store it). Very rare for anything to be in there. The infrequent bottle (water, soda, etc.) goes in the door pockets.

you know for some reason i haven't even bothered counting, and i've had it for a while now. it holds nothing like my dad's charger (i swear there's at least $30 in quarters alone)

one concern with the cupholders i have is the foam padding that comes from the factory (at least it did with my 8.5). when i put a cup in there i always lay down 2 napkins first, cuz im affraid the condensation will mold up, or the slightest amount of soda will get on them rendering them sticky forever

Whatever they are made of is designed to become sticky when it gets wet. It will prevent a cup from moving around while you drive.

Some of you guys are slobs. Ever heard of organization?

The only thing that's ever been in my center console cupholders is the occasional cup of coffee. Water bottles go in the doors. When I'm not in my car, the only things you'll find anywhere are the owner's manual and vehicle registration.

Nothing, since I am a clean freak! Only use it for its intended purpose.....namely cups. Only use it temporarily while driving home from the drive-through. Anyone else notice the cups get in the way of shifting then? I think the console should have been moved forward and then the cupholders behind that. The console is too far back to rest my elbow comfortably.

Beverage of choice depends on the drive.
Morning Commute: coffee in a travel mug
To/From gym: water in a bike bottle
Road Trip: Sugar Free Rockstar, coffee or water

Change?
WTF do you use change for?
EZ-Pass FTMFW!!!
I've driven to NYC and crossed the GW about a dozen times the last 3 months and I am always dumbfounded by the number of people who don't use EZ-Pass all jammed up in the toll booths.

I keep my i-Pod in the console tray.

And you wonder why we have problems...

sleeper3
01-05-2009, 09:26 AM
what would you expect the cost of making a penny to be? Given the work that goes into it, I'd say 1.7 cents is ok.

Think of it this way: if you have a gold coin that is worth exactly it's weight in gold, then the cost of making that coin is going to be more than it is worth (materials + production). it's a fact of life. lol.
