Hey everyone i have the aem filter setup that goes through the hole in the engine bay and out to the driver side right in front of the wheel sits the filter. And i want to relocate it to inside the engine bay or something because of rain and snow that gets the filter all wet and im looking for help on how to do it im not sure how i can and keep the air flow sensor and everything in the right place and since i have a fmic im just not sure on what to do. I'm looking for some pictures of different peoples installs or what not Can anyone help

What you have is a CAI-cold air intake and what your looking to do is turn it into a SRI- Short ram intake. Very common modification, especially during the rainy and wet seasons. I believe most literally mount the Air filter to the MAF. Which is the Black box towards the end of your intake. That info should help your search.

Here I did it for you by searching: short ram intake- SRI

HAHA I havent gotten my SRI yet, cars in my shop anyway for manifolds swap. But it will be here thursday and Ill post pics. Im pretty happy. In the past two weeks Ive added a turbohoses SMIC, protegegarge intake manifold, and thunder exhaust manifold. And afew non performance parts....like carbonfiber eyelids and interior kit and 4 gauge ground wires. So its about time Ive done afew performance mods now that my cars safe to boost. (forged, wideband,AFC)

ewww good option Ken. Do you think this with fit over the perrin filter? I know what has no shot getting on the SRI but I dont like the red filter look. My engine bay is black and silver. so I was thinking about adding the black hydro shield for the perrin filter just so its not red. Any ideas?

i see no reason why this would not fit.

I have a black and grey K&N air filter sitting on my SRI you could always get one of those.
